We recently gave one of our favourite artists Vince Sunico some advance copies of Marvel’s Avengers vs. X-Men blank variants so he could get some sketches done on them in advance of our Avengers vs. X-Men #1 Launch party Tuesday night from 6pm-9pm.
He just emailed us scans of his work – and we were BLOWN AWAY! Click on each image to see a larger version.

These covers will be available for sale at our store starting at 8pm on Tuesday evening, along with all of the other covers of Avengers vs. X-Men #1. Vince Sunico will also be in-store doing custom sketches on blank covers for people in addition to these covers he’s done in advance. Make sure you come in and pick one up, or get your own sketch and see Vince bring your idea to life! Vince will be at the store around 6pm.
These sketches will be sold on a first come first serve basis; you have to be at the store to pick one up! They will sell for $20 each. Please don’t try to reserve one over the phone or via email. These particular covers will be limited to 1 per customer, although you are more than welcome to get additional custom blank covers sketched on at our event!
Also attending the event will be Transformers artist Alex Milne, and independent artist Marvin Law. Alex has also completed a bunch of sketch covers in advance, and we’ll have pictures of those soon!
There will be lots of opportunities for sketches! And don’t forget that we’ll have freebies such as posters, pins, and other prizes!
