Three significant comic-related movie trailers were released in the past couple of days. First came news that a Batman: The Dark Knight Rises trailer had been leaked to the web. A couple days later, we have the official, high quality version available online. It shows a beat-up Commissioner Gordon speaking in the hospital, and we even get a quick glimpse of Bane.
Next we have the official teaser to season two of The Walking Dead. So many people still find themselves in our shop surprised at the fact there are “comic books based on the TV show”. When I tell them the comic book was around first, and is better than the show, they usually don’t take me too seriously. Those who have taken our advice often find themselves hooked and wanting more. Anyhow, this teaser trailer is – simply put – smashing.
Last, but certainly not least, is the Avengers movie trailer that has been leaked and is making its rounds online. The good link I had for it is down, and this one I’ve managed to find has very poor video quality. It appears to feature Captain America, Thor, Iron Man, Hawkeye, and Black Widow. Apparently this is the easter egg that runs at the end of the credits for the Captain America movie.
I’m sure we’ll be seeing a high quality trailer in a couple of days.
