Lame, I know… but we are super excited to be partnering with the AMC Courtney Park 16 Theater in Mississauga for their Avengers Marathon and midnight release event!
AMC is showing a marathon of all of the recent marvel movies leading up to the midnight release of The Avengers. We’re going to have tables set up selling Avengers-related comics, and giving away awesome prizes to the people who will be in attendance at any of the Avengers screenings or marathon screenings going on that day!
If that wasn’t enough, Vince Sunico and Arnold Trinidad from Spent Pencils will be coming along with us to sketch the night away on blank covers of Avengers comics, and other books! Here’s a look at what Vince did for our last Avengers-related event at our store.
Ballots for prizes will be available starting at 11am, with Vince and Arnold joining us around 6pm.
It should be lots of fun – we’re also working on getting some costumed Avengers to join us as we speak! Hopefully we’ll get to see you all there. If you haven’t got a ticket yet you can buy them here but HURRY before they’re all sold out!!
